BURSARY FUND
Funds will support the work of Friends of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, UK (NMWA, UK), which includes:
- making available to the public expanded exhibition opportunities to see women artists working in the UK through supporting exhibitions and the NMWA Women to Watch programmes;
- awarding grants to support historical research into British women artists and collectors;
- creating academic forums, like the Symposium: British Women Collectors, to promote understanding of the roles women have and do play in the world of the arts;
- and in future, by organizing an invitational juried art prize to recognize emerging talent.
